Nigel Grace the Office Manager from Dyer & Butler Head Office is currently taking part in “the ride for life” in aid of local charities in South Africa, with the support of Dyer & Butler Ltd.

Nigel flew to South Africa on the 16th October with some 150 other entrants, including Princes Harry and William to collect the Honda CTX motorcycles that they have purchased with the sponsorship money and then ride 2,000 kilometres, off-road, over 8 days on dusty and very demanding routes through the famous Wild Coast of South Africa. At the end of the trip the bikes and the money are handed over to representatives of the 3 Charities. The overall aim of this event to raise £300,000

Just before Nigel set off the total sponsorship had reached a fabulous £7818.50. Nigel would like to thank everyone who sponsored him and helped him raise more than his orginal target of £5000.

Nigel was particularly nerves about "riding the gorge" and we are all looking forward to Nigel returning to Dyer & Butler in one piece, with many an exciting tale and plenty of photos.
