Dyer & Butler Student Achieves Higher Education Award

Steve Butler has been working for Dyer & Butler for 8 months based at our Heathrow Office as a Site Engineer. Steve has just been awarded the Higher Education Award from Oaklands College, for outstanding performance. This award is usually issued to a student in their final year of study, however this year they decided to award it to Steve who has finished his first year of studies with one year left on his HNC Civil Engineering course.
Philip Ray CEng MICE, College Lecturer said "I felt that Steve deserved the award due to the amount of hard work and effort he put into his studies, out of all the Higher National Students at Oaklearn in both Years 1 & 2, Steven continued to obtain distinctions in all subject areas, even though his employer at the time had to make him redundant".
Tom Jones, Dyer & Butler Project Manager said "We are pleased that Steve has achieved this award which reflects his commitment to his studies and we are proud to be sponsoring his education. Since joining us Steve has quickly become an integral part of our Heathrow team and is great to see that he puts as much effort in to his studies as he does for Dyer and Butler".
