Highfield Campus, Building 25

The University of Southampton has announced the award to Dyer & Butler Ltd for the contract at Highfield Campus; Building 25 Heating Mains. The works over a period of 11 weeks will consist of the current district heating system located under buildings 27 and 29 to be replaced with a new system of pipework within an external trench.  The trench is approx 150m in length and will involve laying geothermal pipework, HV and LV mains, and two spare ducts. Two tees will connect internally to the plant room located within building 25.
