Submarine Refit Complex - Structural Repairs

Babcock have awarded Dyer & Butler the contract for structural repairs to the Submarine Refit complex at Devonport Royal Dockyard. The works include excavation and removal of 2000m3 concrete, rubble and polystyrene fill material to enable the installation of drainage and inspection of the existing foundations at rock-head level in the basement (voids) area of the submarine Refit Complex (SRC).  Ancillary works include electrical installation to improve lighting and power facilities and various elements of steelwork to improve access and safety.
