Wimborne WTW

Wimborne WTW is a borehole station developed during the period 1895-1914, which has been shut down since 1989.
- The works comprised of demolition of existing liming plant and removal of existing redundant pumping plant & equipment. The original building was modified to allow for installation of proposed treatment plant, sampling and control equipment & pumping plant.
- Construction of new chemical storage & emergency equipment building to match existing structure.
- Installation of new treatment process plant including pressure filters, backwash facilities and associated electrical power, control & monitoring equipment.
- UV disinfection and chemical storage & dosing Contact, supply it wash tanks.
- Wastewater storage tanks & pumps.
- Outlet pumps to distribution system.
- Upgrading power supply to the site & MCC panel.
- All water quality monitoring equipment. Cabling & ICA equipment.
