Installation of Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) - Various Locations

Dyer & Butler Electrical has carried out numerous AGL works worth £0.53m at Gatwick Airport. At the moment when the Life Safety critical asset is being relied upon to operate as intended, we use only fully trained, certified and experienced AGL Engineers.

Dyer & Butler has teams of engineers certified to AGL1 and AGL2 enabling them to work on all airfield lighting systems, with a team of Leading Engineers certified to AGL3 Authorised Persons allowing them to carry out AGL isolations.

With our partners Dyer & Butler Civils and a handful of specialist partners Dyer & Butler Electrical are able to offer the ultimate turnkey solution for all AGL needs.

Various locations - Installation of Apron services (FEGP, Safedoc Systems & SNIBs)

Dyer & Butler Electrical has carried out the installation of numerous apron services works worth £0.2m at Gatwick Airport. We have experienced teams trained and certified in a multitude of Apron services including:

  • Fixed Electrical Ground Power systems, with operatives trained and certified by manufacturers like AXA Power and Houchin
  • Safegate Aircraft Parking Systems notably Safedoc Series 1,2 & 3
  • Installation of LED Stand Number Indicator Boards
  • Installation and integration of Fuel Emergency Stop Buttons, working closely with the airport suppliers

 

ASIG Fuel Farm Maintenance Contract

As well as completing traditional M&E construction projects within the UK construction sector and having a highly trained specialist AGL team to work on the UK and International Airfields; Dyer & Butler Limited/Aviation Electrical teams have also introduced a specialist team of Approved and Certified Compex Electricians that enables us to work on petrochemical sites and offer turnkey solutions in tandem with our Civils teams.

This specialist petrochemical team has grown in strength and depth over the years. Through our reliability and our teams’ knowledge we have recently secured the Fuel Farm Maintenance of the ASIG/BP operational fuel farm facility at Gatwick Airport worth £0.18m
