Dyer & Butler Appointed to Network Rail Structural Integrity Southern Region Framework

Dyer & Butler, a part of the M Group Services Transport Division, has been awarded a place on Network Rail’s Structural Integrity Southern Region Framework.

With an annual value of £1.2m, the initial three-year contract term includes an option to extend by another two years and covers the provision of remedial and maintenance works on or around structures to ensure their continued integrity and extended life expectancy.

The works will be undertaken across Kent, Sussex and Wessex. The scope of works will include brickwork repairs, vegetation clearance, preventative maintenance, steelwork repairs and the clearing and inspection of signal gantries.

Chris Darlow, Rail Director at Dyer & Butler, commented: “This is a significant contract award that will enable Dyer & Butler to further strengthen the close, collaborative relationship we have established with Network Rail over many years. We are delighted to have been appointed to this framework and we will look to identify opportunities to achieve synergies and maximise efficiencies alongside our Network Rail Minor Works framework activity in the Southern region. Our objective is to provide best in class safety and operational performance to support Network Rail’s organisation-wide focus on putting the needs of passengers and freight users first.”
