Dyer & Butler is expanding its team of STEM ambassadors.

The ambassadors will represent Dyer & Butler through a range of STEM based activities such as regional Big Bang Fairs within schools and colleges. Free for schools to attend, the Big Bang Fairs give students sight of the range of STEM careers that are available, with the aim of inspiring them to continue studying STEM subjects and pursue STEM careers with a view to reducing the STEM skills gap.

Dyer & Butler Head of Business Development Murray van der Poll comments: “Being a STEM Ambassador is about engaging and enthusing young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics and in doing so will help encourage students to consider further study of STEM subjects and progression into related careers, inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals.”

The Big Bang Fair South East will be a key date in Dyer & Butler’s STEM calendar this year, with client Gatwick Airport being the main sponsor. The event will take place at the South of England Showground in Ardingly on 26 & 27 June 2019.
