We are proud to announce Dyer & Butler, a part of M Group Services’ Transport Division, has raised almost £23,000 for Shelter, the charity that addresses housing issues and supports families facing homelessness.

Over the past 18 months people from Dyer & Butler have challenged themselves to come up with brilliant ways to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

Fundraising efforts included:

  • Richard Walker, Dyer & Butler’s Managing Director, cycling The Way of the Roses, a 170-mile coast-to-coast route from Morecambe, Lancaster to Bridlington, East Riding.
  • A UEFA European Championship colleague sweepstake for the rail team.
  • Over 40 colleagues taking part in the 24-mile Clarendon Way Walk from Salisbury to Winchester
  • A Dyer & Butler Golf Day for people in the business and key suppliers
  • Dyer & Butler’s Executive Team taking on a virtual triathlon which allows for anyone, with any level of experience, to complete the challenge at their own pace
  • One of the teams holding a distance challenge where in March they walked, ran and cycled a total of 3629 miles
  • Celebrating the festive season with a Christmas Jumper Day for colleagues
  • A team of seven tackling the 167km Etape du Tour across the French Alpes.

Kitty O’Shea, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Shelter UK, said: “On behalf of all of us at Shelter, we would like to say a huge thank you to the Dyer & Butler team. Your incredible fundraising efforts mean we can continue to provide expert advice and support to people who need it, every single day of the year.”

Richard Walker, Dyer & Butler’s Managing Director, said: “As part of Dyer & Butler’s ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’ initiative, we are committed to contributing to the communities in which we work to help improve the lives of others. I am proud of the Dyer & Butler team for all their hard work which has raised a significant amount to help an important charitable cause.”
