M Group Services excels with outstanding 14 RoSPA wins for its ongoing commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing.

The long-term commitment of M Group Services and its operating businesses to the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing has been recognised with multiple awards at this year’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards.

M Group Services operating businesses have received a total of 14 RoSPA awards, which were presented at an award ceremony at the ExCel in London recently.

As well as eight gold and one silver award, operating businesses across the Group have been recognised with three orders of distinction and a president’s award, presented to businesses sustaining the high standards of Gold award level over consecutive years.

RoSPA’s annual awards are one of the most prestigious and recognised schemes in the world, achieving success is a clear demonstration of good safety performance.

Jim Arnold, Chief Executive at M Group Services, said: “Safety is one of our core values at M Group Services and these awards from RoSPA are evidence of how this value permeates throughout our people and the work they do. Our people recognise the importance of creating working environments which are safe and healthy for everyone delivering our essential works, as well as all those who come into contact with us and the work we do.

“Our focus on safety forms an essential element of our Group environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets. As part of this, we are committed to supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, one of which is Good Health and Wellbeing. Aligned with this development goal, these award wins highlight how our people are developing and implementing strong governance policies and procedures which bring significant social benefits, keeping our colleagues, clients and the public safe and healthy.

It’s great to see our businesses picking up these awards and brilliant so many of these wins are consecutive. These successive award wins demonstrate the consistent and continuous high standards our people set. However, we must never get complacent as there is still a lot of effort and focus required to get to zero incidents.”

Dyer & Butler has received three Order of Distinction awards and the President’s Award, in

recognition of its long-term commitment to health and safety across the aviation and rail sectors. Dyer & Butler won the RoSPA Order of Distinction award for its run of 17 consecutive Gold awards. Two further Order of Distinction awards have been won in association with clients Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport. Dyer & Butler’s Rail Team also received the RoSPA President’s Award for achieving Gold awards on 11 consecutive occasions.
